SC is using refurbished ES&S iVotronic voting machines

Dr. Eleanor Hare has been researching information regarding refurbished voting machines and here is what she has uncovered.

The State Election Commission does not maintain information about the purchase of used, refurbished iVotronics by counties, so this information must be collected county-by-county from ES&S invoices dated 4/27/10 through 4/26/11. Some counties do not reply to our Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests, so our information is not complete. Collection of this information is slow because there is no central repository. As more information becomes available, these numbers will be updated.

Currently, we know that the following counties purchased used, refurbished iVotronics between April 2010 and March 2011: Aiken (11), Greenville (12), Lexington (4), Sumter (25).
